The Oberoi Lombok

The Oberoi Lombok is a hidden gem in Lombok, Indonesia. This luxury resort is set within wonderful tropical gardens and offers a selection of luxury pavilions and villas, many of them with stunning ocean views.

We had the spacious Luxury Pavilion with Sea View. Luxurious marble bathroom with private walled garden, sunken bath, separate shower stall and double sink vanity. Private outdoor terrace for alfresco dining and sun lounger.

The first day we were overwhelmed by the huge choice of breakfast varieties and the quality. Sitting there with view on the ocean and enjoying the tasty breakfast was a highlight every morning.

We loved the gorgeous infinity pool and the extreme helpful and friendly staff which provided us with chilled water, sun screen and cold towels throughout the day. The sunbeds are very comfy and also the little cabanas which spend the shade you sometimes need.

In the afternoon we had some coffee, tea and snacks provided near the Lobby.

To be honest, the beach could be better, but we knew that before arrival,so this wasn’t a problem for us and we enjoyed the wonderful pool. The private pier is a good option to get tot he Gili Islands if you like as it is just a short 15 minutes ride by boat.

The candle lit dinner at the pool and the great food was another highlight every day. The food was of high quality and very tasteful.

A good point is also that there is a Helipad in front of the Hotel. The regular transfer by car takes almost 2 hours, with the Helicopter you arrive within shortest time.

The Oberoi Lombok is one of our favourite hotels in Indonesia and we will definately come back.
