A couple of weeks ago - Bali

I visited Bali and Lombok together with my husband and my Teenage daughter. We went to the Intercontinental Bali first, which is rated as a 5* property. It's just a short ride from the Airport to Jimbaran Bay and the Resort is blessed with an endless stretch of almost white sand beach. We had a Singaraja Room with Extra Bed and the room size was still ok for us three. Bathroom Amenities are from Harnn, the Cymbopogon Collection, and we really liked the wonderful smell and the nourishing Shampoos, Conditioner asf. Breakfast Buffet had a wide choice of the typical American Breakfast dishes served in 2 Restaurants, one of them is in a beautiful setting in the garden overlooking the Pool and the Sea. If you book Club Level Rooms you have another Restaurant to enjoy Breakfast and even some more dishes.

We love to have Breakfast with a view, so we choosed the Garden Restaurant mostly. Every Morning I got my Cappuchino with some "Artworks" on it. One day with "Happy Holiday" and on my Birthday with "Happy Birthday". All the Staff is very friendly and helpful. Everyone is always smiling at you.

The Sunbeds are comfortable with soft matresses and there are also some Beach Cabanas for the guests which booked Club Level. There are 3 Pools, the gardens are well maintained and the grounds are huge, you will always have your privacy. I got an invitation for the Spa and had a wonderful Massage at the Massage Pavilion at the Beach. You should try out, it's deeply relaxing!

The Sunset Beach Bar & Grill is a casual style open-air beachfront bar overlooking the bay where you can get Sandwiches, Steaks, Salads, Burger and contemporary seafood bites from Lunch Time till the evening. Don't miss to catch the sunset with "toes-in-sand" and a cocktail or glass of wine when it's magically illuminated with tree lanterns and fire torches. This is really a must!
